Pharos release stations are set up in labs around campus to manage prints. The University of Cincinnati uses the Pharos Uniprint system to manage the printers on campus. With this system, prints from many computers are sent to a specific computer, based on location, and released to the printer from there.
When printing from a lab:
You will be prompted to name their print job before going to the release station in the computer lab to pick it up.
Then, swipe your UC ID card at the release station and select the print job you sent.
If you just registered for classes, keep in mind that it takes 24-48 hours for your UC ID to activate. Students are alotted $7 in free prints each quarter. Any unused balance for free prints does not roll over to subsequent quarters. Rather, at the beginning of each quarter in which the student is enrolled in classes (part or full-time), their balance is refilled up to $7.
